I’m Leon Barkley, a former Lead Teacher of Maths with around ten years’ experience in secondary education. I built Maths With Leon to give pupils the clarity and direction that are often missing from generic revision.
The aim is simple: pupils should understand what they are doing, parents should know how they are progressing, and every session should lead naturally to the next step.

The free Gap Finder samples Foundation-focused skills; it is not a Higher-tier assessment. In the programme, I use each pupil’s tier, target and deeper checks to guide their support.
What happens if a session is missed?
Members receive access to the relevant recording and resources so one missed session does not mean losing the topic.
Is the Gap Finder a predicted grade?
No. It is a short skills snapshot designed to identify useful revision priorities—not replace a full assessment.
